Lets talk about who's gonna be big in the upcoming years...

Some of you may not know I have a great gift for predicting the up and coming stars in Hollywood. Most of the time I get it so right it hurts and there are other times where I just assume Britney Spears will be a one hit wonder. Ooops, lets not go there.

In the past, I have pin pointed the upcoming leaps of:
1. Christina Aguilera
2. Scarlet Johanson
3. Kelly Ripa
4. Josh Duhamel
5. Hilary Duff
6. Lindsay Lohan
7. Michelle Trachtenberg
8. Kate Hudson
9. Amanda Bynes - I picked her when I was 14

There have been a few missteps on the way...
Examples: Alex Mack (cant remember her real name), the youngest sister from Step by Step, Jordana Brewster, Vinessa Shaw......the list can go on....

So lets talk about my picks for the next few years of stars moving up the ladder.....


1.Hayden Panettiere

The youngest cast member of "Heroes", NBC's biggest and most deserved hit of the Fall 2006 season. Panettiere has alot of qualities that make a young actress a star. One, she's adorable. Two, she's pretty good at both comedy and she's MARKETABLE. This girl can move easily from a Nickelodeon program to a hard hitting episode of Law and Order to an independent movie and not skip a beat. After seeing her in the movie she did with Kate Hudson, I knew this girl was headed towards the big time. She now has a Neutrogena contract and an MTV reality start boyfriend, so she know she has it. Lets just hope she continues to eat, doesn't party too much and breaks all ties with Paris Hilton. If she does, she is on her way to being a pretty big deal in Hollywood.


2. Evan Rachel Wood

Although I hated her most recent film "Running with Scissors", I thought she was
marvelous in the movie. Ms. Wood has all the characteristics of a huge movie star - pretty face, huge range and again, marketability. After seeing her in "Thirteen", I knew she was probably the next Scarlet, but nowI'm thinking she has the capability of being much larger than that. Evan has alot more going for her than her baritone coworker. And apparently she is already making the rounds in Hollywood and hanging with Marilyn Manson. With her penchant for choosing gripping indies, this girl has buzz worthy written all over her. Its gonna be interesting to see which way she goes.


3. Kristin Stewart

Although her resume is still small, I think this girl is gonna be a hit - either
going the way of dedicated actress or indie cult hit! After her turn in Panic Room, I could see she had chops. But it a Lifetime move - oh hush!!!! - that really made me see big things for this girl. She is already doing theTribecca and Sundance circuit and easily follow in Ms. Wood's steps. Lets hope so!

So I guess this is where I start talking about guys and to be honest, I'm not as good as predicting their stardom or hell even possibility of a continuous career. But I am pretty sure that Will Farrell is headed towards Tom Hanks style stardom and Jim from the office could be the next Paul Rudd. Who knows?

ok so this is going to start out sounding lame...

But as I was watching "One Tree Hill" and by the way for the first time ever....I realized a few things..

One, Tv on the Radio is going to be big big big...This band is one of those great things to come out of New York, Brooklyn respectively, and hopefully will be setting the world on fire...not just critics and hip kids....although, that isnt a bad crowd to hype you up.

Second, I miss playing sports and alot more than I thought I ever would. When the nerdy high school basketball announcer started his jibber jabbering about how sports teams can show people and their moments of greatness, I was forced to agree. There havent been many moments that I have had that have completely overwhelmed me as winning the game after being down 10 points, catching the final strike to win the game or throwing the ball to a player just off the bench. And maybe thats what I have been missing so much the past few years. Or maybe its just the lack of performance and the routine crap I do every day without an audience. I went from dancing and singing to playing sports to sitting on my ass and watching tv. And I m one hundred percent sure I liked the way things used to be and so do my abs.

So how does a girl in her mid 20's get that back in her life without joining the community theater to do a performance of "Cyrano de Bergerac"???? Any ideas, please let me know.....

This country is opposed to gay couples having children, but we celebrate this woman's ability....

I think the fact that this woman has been lucky enough to move herself out of some back roads trailer in Kentucky is amazing. I thought it was hysterical that she married some wannabe ghetto rapper within 6 months of meeting him, right after he impregnated his quite fertile girlfriend. And what was even better that this woman had the audacity to bring two children into this messed up world and not seem to realize she had some explaining to do.....

So when she told the world she was divorcing K-Fed almost 3 weeks ago, I thought " Finally, someone got into this girls head and is setting her straight." I did
not expect to see this girl out tramping around with Hilton or Lohan....Now, to be honest, I could give a crap what Hilton or Lohan do. In fact, if I was rich and had the power to do what they were doing, I most likely would be. Partying all night and baking in the sun all day, withalot of shopping and starving themselves in the meantime .

But Britney is different - yes she is young, rich and newly single - BUT SHE IS A MOTHER!!!!!! She needs to be raising her children in a nice, comfy home with loving parents - even if its only one - but both of you cant be fucked up....and too bad sweetie you picked this idiot to have children with.

Which brings back to my main point, what would the people who don't want a loving gay/lesbian couple who have put aside paryting, single bars, and clubbing to the sedentary couple life most of us inherit with long term relationships not to have children, but believe it is okay that Britney and K-Fed bred? How come assholes who basically piss on the idea and "sanctity" of marriage like the previously mentioned couple or someone like Pamela Anderson and White Trash Kid Rock aren't being attacked by the Religious Right? How come some pastor in Colorado isn't getting all upset about whats going on with the Southern/Midwestern stars currently living in
Hollywood and pissing all over marriage??? Maybe the reflection in the magazines with Britney's face is too close for comfort.

So once and all - Britney - buy some undies - I know you have the cash. Hell, send me your manager's address or whoever been suckered into representing you this week, along with Hilton's and Lohan's and in the spirit of Christmas, I'll buy all three of you a couple of pairs of drawers.

But in the meantime, if you are going to go commando you idiots, at least have the decency to keep your legs closed in front of the cameras. The world has enough airborne diseases.
